BOYKINS — Marshall Clark Lashley, 72, died on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
His survivors are his wife, Nannie Lashley; his children, Maurice Lashley, Marvin Lashley, Travoris Lashley, Lillian Lashley and Stephen Peterson; two brothers, three sisters, 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Faison’s Funeral Service Inc. have been entrusted with arrangements where Mr. Lashley will lie in repose from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 5, at Rising Star Baptist Church, Branchville, with Pastor William E. Dickerson delivering words of comfort. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
