Paula Bell Bridgers

CONWAY, N.C. — Paula Bell Bridgers, 63, died on Friday, May 26, 2017.
She was a native of Franklin, Virginia, who had been a wonderful, loving wife and caring mother and grandmother to her family, and was one who was very strong in her faith.
She truly loved the Lord and ministered to all through her life of loving and caring. She was involved in her church doing all she could to help where needed. A special time for Paula Bell was decorating for the Mother’s Day Luncheon Celebration at her church.
She also loved to cook for family and friends and she loved to garden.
Paula Bell had been preceded in death by her parents, Eldon A. Bell and Pauline Hubbard Bell; and a brother, Robert Bell.
Survivors include her husband of almost 45 years, Jimmy Bridgers of their home; children, James Dale Bridgers of Conway, North Carolina; Amy B. Futrell and husband, Scott, of Holly Springs, and Jesse Paul Bridgers and wife, Michele, of Durham, North Carolina; granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Futrell of Holly Springs, North Carolina; brothers, Alan Bell and wife, Ellen, of Manteo, North Carolina; and Jonathan David Bell and wife, Mary Evelyn, of Chesapeake, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service for Paula Bell will be on Tuesday, May 30, at 2 p.m., in Creeksville Baptist Church, Creeksville, North Carolina, and the family has requested that anyone wishing to honor Paula Bell’s memory, please do so with a memorial gift to the Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters, P.O. Box 2156 in Norfolk, VA, or to Creeksville Baptist Church.
