Lady Bronco netters end season with 2-8 loss

FRANKLIN
The Franklin High School Lady Broncos tennis team played its last match of the season and lost 2-8 to the Lady Dragons of Appomattox Regional Governor’s School.

The highlight of the match played on Wednesday at Franklin High School was that senior Erin Kamilovich ended the season being undefeated in singles play. She won easily 8-1 over Sarah Seward.

The only other win for the Lady Broncos came on the racquet of DeAnna Mayberry as she won 8-4 over Tai Samuels.

The Lady Broncos will now prepare for the district tournament that will be at the tennis courts of Franklin High School on May 18-19.

3. DeAnna Mayberry won 8-4 over Tai Samuels

5. Sierra Newby lost 5-8 against Carol Avery

6. Geniyah Everette lost 0-8 against Kasia Carrington
