Second Ave. Park-N-Shop robbed

FRANKLIN
Police responded the report of an armed robbery at the Park-N-Shop convenience store on East Second Avenue in downtown Franklin on Saturday. The call to police came at about 9:20 p.m.
According to Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the Franklin Police Department, investigating officers learned that a suspect entered the store, approached the cashier and displayed a knife while demanding money. After the suspect was given an undetermined amount of cash, he fled in an unknown direction on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a mask, sunglasses, a blue hoodie and gloves. According to police, the suspect is still at large as of noon on Monday.
