No one hurt by bullet shot into window

FRANKLIN
No one was injured when an unknown person fired a bullet into an occupied apartment early on Monday.

At 2:46 a.m., police responded to an apartment in the E section of Dorchester Square Apartments in reference to someone firing a shot into an upstairs window. This information comes from Capt. Tim Whitt, spokesman for the Franklin Police Department.

The caller stated she was in bed when she heard a noise and the window above her shattered. Looking out the window, she saw a black car leaving at a high rate of speed.

Officers recovered a .45 caliber bullet from the apartment.
