ZUNI — Johnnie Wayne Hedgepeth, 75, passed away on May 8, 2017.

He was born in Isle of Wight County, a son of the late Johnnie F. and Lucille P. Hedgepeth.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judith A. Hedgepeth; daughter, Tammy Garrett; son, Troy Hedgepeth; four grandchildren; brother, Terry Hedgepeth; and extended family.

The funeral will be on Wednesday, May 10, at 2 p.m., in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with the Rev. John Hartman officiating. Burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park.

Friends may join the family for a visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home, and other times at the residence.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church.
