Rex Alphin’s honorable, genuine leadership needed

To the Editor:

What a wonderful opportunity we have to elect a Christian, farmer, businessman and civic leader to the House of Delegates representing us in the 64th district. Rex Alphin is a small-business owner and farmer who knows the concerns and issues of making payroll, dealing with government overregulations and balancing budgets. His years of service of the Isle of Wight Board of Supervisors have given him the experience of the demands, challenges and sensitivities of local government.

Rex is one of the most honest men with conservative values and standards which will serve our district and the state so well. His ability to stand up for what he believes, coupled with his ability to seek compromises will be respected and needed in the General Assembly.

Rex with his leadership has been a great regional partner with Franklin and Southampton County, looking for efficient, cost-effective ways to work together. Rex is the kind of honorable, genuine leadership our 64th district needs.

Please join us in voting for Rex Alphin for the 64th district House of Delegates on June 13 in the Republican primary.
