Pino’s Pizza burglarized

COURTLAND
Deputies with the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at Pino’s Pizza in the 23000 block of Jerusalem Road at approximately 8:12 a.m. on Tuesday. This information comes from Lt. Camden Cobb, a spokesman for the department.

“Deputies observed the glass in the front door was shattered and an unknown individual had stolen the cash register and several hundred dollars before exiting the back door and getting into a vehicle,” Cobb stated in a press release. “Investigators with the sheriff’s office have several persons of interest in this case, but no arrests have been made at this time.”

He asks for the public’s help with the investigation. If anyone saw a vehicle in the parking lot or behind Pino’s Pizza between 8 and 8:12 a.m. Tuesday, please contact Cobb at the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office by calling 653-2100.
