At 11:02 p.m., officers responded to the Park ā€˜Nā€™ Shop at 700 South Street in reference to a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, they found a store employee had a suspect ā€” Tyre Emmanuel Holland ā€” pinned to the ground in the parking lot.

Investigation revealed that the employee was walking to his car with a money bag containing an undetermined amount of cash when he was attacked by Holland, 23, and another black male. The employee was slammed to the ground and fought back against Holland. The second suspect got away with the money. Both Holland and the store employee were transported to Southampton Memorial Hospital for treatment and later released.
