Eggs with a side order of issues

Every session of the General Assembly is unique in its own way, and this past season has been no exception, particularly where budget matters are of paramount importance.

For that reason, we urge you to attend the Eggs and Issues Breakfast this Wednesday, April 12. The event is worthy because you can hear directly from the legislators who represent us: Sen. John A. Cosgrove Jr. (R-14); Sen. L. Louise Lucas (D-18); Del. Rick L. Morris (R-64); and Del. Roslyn C. Tyler (D-75).

Even though both Cosgrove and Morris are departing, their perspectives on the past and future should be interesting to hear.

We look forward to hearing what all the representatives have to say.

The program will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Regional Workforce Development Center at Paul D. Camp Community College.

Reservations cost $12 per Chamber member; $15 for non-members; and to sponsor an area high school student, $10. Those sponsors will be recognized in the program.

To make reservations, call 562-4900.
