To the Editor:

I couldn’t be more excited to support my friend Emily Brewer in the Republican Primary for Delegate of the 64th District on June 13.

As the former Western Tidewater Young Republicans chairman and a Republican activist in the region, I know Emily is the best choice for the GOP in this race. The reason is because of her passion for the Western Tidewater region and she has the integrity to lead.

We need to elect leaders not followers, and Emily is a leader. The problem Virginia has run into is that we are sending more politicians to Richmond than ever.

Emily is not and has never been a politician, she is a small-business owner. I want my delegate to look out for individuals and small-businesses not be in the pocket of lobbyists, special interests, and big government.

Americans sent a message in 2016, that we want new perspective leading our country. As the only candidate in this race who is not a politician and the only candidate who has not raised taxes, I am glad to support Emily Brewer in the Republican Primary on June 13 and I hope you will join me.
