The students enjoyed a spirit week of crazy socks for Fox in Socks, hat day for Cat in the Hat, a green eggs and ham breakfast, pajamas for the Sleep Book, a favorite Dr. Seuss character costume parade, a guest reading performance by. Lorraine Greene Whitehead Phelps, Key Club classroom helpers and buddy readers between grade levels.

The school also hosted special classroom guest readers from the community such as Bill Worsham, Amy Riggs, Jim Pope, Barry Porter, Ronnie West, Debra Hicks, Kelli Gillette, Nikisha Ragsdale and Bruce Phillips.

The school is extremely thankful for all who came out to make the week so successful in promoting literacy.
