FRANKLIN — Martha Ann Beale, 73, of Delaware Road, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017, peacefully with her family.

She was a caterer and caretaker for numerous years.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Beale; two daughters, Jeri Ridley and Jacqueline Beale, both of Franklin; a son, Ricky Beale of Franklin; four sisters, Mary J. Beale of Newsoms, Joyce A. Vinson, Earnestine Riddick and Annie Riddick, all of Franklin; two brothers, John Riddick of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and Willie Riddick of Maryland; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral was on Thursday at noon in New St. Mount Church with Pastor Dorothy Ruffin giving the eulogy. Burial was in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
