CAPRON — Brian Keith Rountree, 48, a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2017, at his home.
Born in Suffolk, Brian was a 1987 graduate of Forest Glen High School and was a farm supervisor with the Virginia Department of Corrections in Greensville.
Brian leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Donna Barnes Rountree; his parents, Wilbur and Shirley Parker Rountree; two precious daughters, Emily Brooke Rountree and Erin Olivia Rountree; his sister, Pam R. Goodman; and and a host of other relatives and many friends.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Julie Larch officiating. Burial will be in Capron Cemetery with a reception following at Joyner United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends tonight, March 17, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home, and suggests memorials be made to Joyner United Methodist Church, 18084 Clubhouse Rd., Capron, VA 23829.
