COURTLAND
Seems like just yesterday Western Tidewater was both entertained — and amazed — by virtuoso pianist Thomas Pandolfi, courtesy of the Franklin Southampton Concert Association. Already it’s time for the annual concert presented by conductor Benjamin Rous and the Virginia Symphony.

They’ll bring their unique sound and selections to Southampton High School on Saturday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m.

The orchestra’s presence is a present, if you will, thanks to the sustaining generosity of the Camp Foundation, so admission is free for the public, not just regular subscribers.

The school is located at 23350 Southampton Parkway in Courtland.

For further details about the concert of the FSCA, contact Nancy Rowe at 653-2498; Bill Vick at 653-2892; or visit www.franklinsouthamptonconcerts.org.

P.S. Pencil in Saturday, April 1, which is when musician/comedian Chris Pendleton brings her rescheduled “Funny Fiddle” at 7:30 p.m. in the same location.
