FRANKLIN
The Franklin City School Board will hold a special called meeting on Thursday, March 2, at 6 p.m., in the school board office conference room to discuss Interim Superintendent Kelvin Edwards Sr.’s proposed budgets for the current and next school year.

Also on the agenda is a discussion of a report on the Charles Street gym, which is in need of a roof repair, and what estimates have been quoted thus far. The meeting will be open to the public.

School board chairman Bob Holt said the meeting will be strictly a discussion among the board members and not a public hearing, but that he expects the board to hold such a hearing on the budget in mid-March.
