SUFFOLK — Johnie T. Stokes of Truman Road passed away on Jan. 23, 2017.
The homegoing service was at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, in Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1071 Carrsville Highway, Franklin, with the Rev. Clarence Myrick delivering the message of comfort; the Rev. Alfred D. Brown Sr. is the host pastor.
The interment will be at A.G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk on Wednesday.
A traditional service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St.
