FRANKLIN — Shirley M. Britt of Harris Street passed away on Jan. 23, 2017, while a patient in Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk.
The homegoing service was at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, in New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Rosewood Ave., with the pastor, Rev. Anthony Goodwyn, who delivered the message of comfort. The committal and benediction was in Southview Cemetery.
