SMITHFIELD — Peter B. Faleski, 66, passed away on Jan. 17, 2017, at his home in Smithfield, Virginia. He was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Peter P. and Frances F. Faleski.  A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and Kutztown State University, Peter served on Allentown City Council from 1989 through 1992. He retired as the owner and operator of Premier Builder Floors in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Peter was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 59 in Smithfield, where he served as a former Flotilla Commander and Division 5 Staff Officer. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Smithfield.

Peter is survived by his wife of 32 years, Stephanie T. Faleski; sons, Stephen P. Faleski, Peter Michael Faleski and Randy Fehr; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Tom Balent; sisters, Barbara Davis, Karen Luise and Susan Beaver; and brothers, Henry and David Faleski.

Services will be private.
