As of 10:30 a.m., 44 customers in Western Tidewater are reported being without electricity, according to Dominion Power’s map of outages (www.dom.com/outage-center)
Thirty-three customers are in the Courtland area, and crews are reported to be at the scene; restoration is expected to be completed by 4 p.m.
Eleven other customers are within the Little Texas area, and restoration is expected to happen sometime from 1 to 6 p.m.
Community Electric Cooperative reports that only one of its customers in Southampton County — north of 58 West near the Sussex County border — is without power, according to its outage map (www.comelec.coop), and crews have been assigned.
