FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Nannie Sue Garris of Big Wood Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina, a former resident of Franklin, Virginia, passed away on Dec. 17, 2016.

The homegoing celebration will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, in Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1071 Carrsville Highway, with the Rev. Michael Lawrence delivering the eulogy; the Rev. Alfred Brown Sr. is the host pastor. The committal and benediction will be in Southview Cemetery.

A traditional service with dignity will be given by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin.
