FRANKLIN — On Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, God in His infinite wisdom, saw fit to call Charles Scott home to eternal rest and peace. Charles was born on Dec. 18, 1962, to the late Lorraine and Charlie Beale. He was a resident at East Pavilion.

Charles attended Franklin High School. He was employed as a dishwasher at Joe’s Pizza Palace and a detailer at MC’s Car Wash before he became ill. He was an employee of Cardinal Landscaping in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as a landscaper for 10 years.

He was a hardworking man, a loving husband and father. Charles truly loved his family and would do anything in the world to help anyone.

He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers Larry Biggs, Nathan Beale and George “Sonny” Spratley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 29 years, Vickie Scott; two daughters: Ebony Scott and Maurita Boone (Arnold); one grandson, Amari Boone of Courtland; two brothers, Samuel Biggs and Anthony Barr (Evelyn); four sisters, Jean Johnson of Newport News; Linda McCrae (Larry) of Portsmouth; Desiree Scott and Loretta Lomax of Franklin; mother-in-law, Alice Gourdine; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The homegoing service will be on Friday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. in Move of God Church, 221 S. Main St, Franklin. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
