The purpose given for the meeting, according to the meeting notice sent out on Wednesday around 6 p.m., was “consultation with legal counsel regarding a matter that requires provision of legal advice; and to discuss and consider the performance of departments and schools where such evaluation will necessarily involve discussion of the performance of specific individuals.”
According to school board member Bob Holt, no action was taken as a result of the meeting.
Dr. Andrea Hall-Leonard, the chairwoman of the board, was unable to be reached for comments. Superintendent Dr. Willie J. Bell declined to comment on the proceedings.
