Windsor High cheerleaders take 2nd place in Conference 34 competition

WINDSOR
Windsor High School’s cheerleaders took second place in the Virginia High School League’s Conference 34 cheer competition, held Thursday, Oct. 20 at Georgie D. Tyler Middle School.

The cheerleaders earned an overall score of 144, coming in behind Goochland High School’s score of 162, but ahead of Central Lunenburg High School’s third-place score of 122. Prince Edward High School and Chincoteague High School took fourth and fifth place respectively, both with a score of 94, and Northampton High School came in sixth with a score of 86.5.

Goochland, Windsor, and Central Lunenburg will represent Conference 34 next Thursday at East Rockingham High School at 6 p.m.
