CARRSVILLE
On Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, Andrew Bernard Boone Sr., second-born child of the late Lee A. and Lessie Picot Boone, peacefully transitioned to eternal rest with his Heavenly Father. He is rejoicing to be with his beloved “Snook.”

Bernard joined Pulaski as a child, and attended regularly until relocating to New Jersey where he attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton.

He married Saundra Alleyne in 1987.

He was employed at various places in Virginia before relocating to New Jersey, where he retired after 30 years as a counselor at New Lisbon Developmental Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory Saundra; his sons, Randy Bernard Boone, Rodney Keith Boone (Ashley), Andrew Bernard Boone Jr., Chad Ryan Boone and Nikia Alleyne (Dominique); six grandchildren, Arianna Edwards, Nizir Jones, Amare Boone, Nikia Alleyne Jr., Milani Boone and Khalan Alleyne; sister and caregiver, Levonne Boone-Randolph; brother, Rodney Boone (Sabrina), Lori Boone-Lawrence, who was his heart from day one; and Cora Burnette, who was always his sister; paternal cousins, Bobby Boone and the Rev. Dr. Saundras Barnes.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, in Pulaski Baptist Church, 6461 Carrsville Highway, Carrsville.
