Franklin Youth Football, Cheer open their season

FRANKLIN
The 2016 Franklin Youth Football & Cheer opened its season on Wednesday night, Oct. 5, at Armory Drive Recreational Park. The league welcomed the Holland Razorbacks as a new team this year joining the Windsor Knights, the Surry Cougars, the Boykins Bulldogs and the Franklin Mustangs.
League games will be held each Wednesday night starting at 6 o’clock with flag and junior league games. Senior games will start at the completion of those games around 7 o’clock.
Bobby Dunlow, the commissioner of the league, commented after the game that he was very pleased with the games of the opening night and on the number of spectators that came out to see the games.
