COLOSSE — Emily Ester Rhodes, 57, was received in Heaven by her parents on Oct. 8, 2016.

Ester was born in Norfolk, and was a daughter of the late Jethro G. and Hazel Raiford Rhodes.

She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Michelle Rhodes (Ronnie), and a brother, Michael Rhodes, all of Franklin; aunts and uncles, Merritt and Mary Vaughan Raiford and Charlie and Margaret Shenberger; and a host of cousins.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 13, in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery.
