SEDLEY — Annie Belle Branch Harrup, 91, widow of Robert Lee “Buck” Harrup Sr. passed away on Oct. 1, 2016, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

She was a daughter of the late Robert Franklin Branch and Maggie Joyner Branch, and was predeceased by two brothers, Albert Branch and Will Branch; and three sisters, Thelma Joyner, Maggie Sue Joyner and Daisy Parsons.
Mrs. Harrup was a former co-owner along with her husband of Harrup’s Supermarket in Berlin, and was a member of Millfield Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Robert L. Harrup Jr. (Kayre), Marty K. Harrup (Linda) and Bruce D. Harrup (Renee); her twin sister, Alice Nell Wills; eight grandchildren, Cindy, Amy, Keith, Tim, Greg, Janice, Justin and Joshua; and nine great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Aaron, Andrew, Myla, Phillip, Braiden, Hayden, Madison and Dayton.
The funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Millfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Brooks Gale officiating. The burial followed in the church cemetery.
The family received friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Marty and Linda’s house at 12190 Ivor Road, Sedley, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
