WINDSOR — Geraldine “Gerry” DeBerry Martin, was home in the arms of her family when she went to be with the Lord on Sept. 14, 2016.
She was a loving and caring wife, mama and grammy. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She also shared that love with young children as a teacher’s aide with the Suffolk school system.
She leaves wonderful memories to be cherished by her daughter, Dawn Darden; three sons, James Kenneth Martin Jr., Robert Blayne Martin and Richard Wayne Martin; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
The graveside service will be conducted at Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk, on Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. with Chaplain C.L. Davis officiating.
