FRANKLIN — Frances Butler Wilber, 87, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at The Village at Woods Edge.

She was a daughter of the late Charley Hartley Butler and Ruth Edwards Butler, and was predeceased by her husband, Joe C. Wilber, and two brothers, James and Charles Butler.
Frances was born in Fulton, Tennessee and reared in Trenton, Tennessee.
She was retired from Wyeth Laboratory. She was a member of the Franklin Woman’s Club and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 128.
Frances was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church and its Senior Circle.
Survivors include two nieces, Elizabeth McClune and Katherine Chapman, both of California; and a nephew, Timothy Schmidt of Tennessee.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, in Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Lou Ventura officiating.
