Suspect in travel center robbery now arrested

FRANKLIN
The suspect in relation to the Love’s Travel Center robbery that took place at the end of July has now been arrested. According to Capt. Tim Whitt of the Franklin Police Department, Broderick Antonio Beale of the 100 Block of Artis Street, Franklin, has been charged with robbery and is being held in the Richmond City Jail, awaiting transfer to Western Tidewater Regional Jail.

Beale allegedly attacked and grabbed a female victim while she was paying for her items at the cash register.

No weapon was used during the altercation and the victim was not injured.
