Most private schools are already back in session and public schools have open houses and first days just around the corner.

That being said, we encourage parents and students to be prepared for the upcoming year. This includes attending the scheduled open houses, getting the required school supplies for a successful year, keeping up to date with required vaccinations, coming prepared each day and staying on top of school work and homework.

For those who may be wondering how to get your child’s school supply list, several of the school systems have them listed on their websites.

Parents, we ask that you help your children and guide them when they need you, as you are one of the main branches to their success.

With students going back to school, that also means our school pages will soon be coming back to our Friday edition of the paper. However, we need the principals, teachers and staff’s help with this.

We ask that you please let us know when exciting events and projects are going to be taken place. We also ask that you send us weekly updates of what’s going on in the classrooms, as well as pictures.

These pages are a collaborative effort between each one of you and ourselves, and we want them to be the best they can be.
