FRANKLIN
Have you met the two new kids on the block at the Franklin Business Center? Their businesses are categorized into two different industries but these two entrepreneurs share many similarities — they are both youthful and full of energy and they have a passion for their individual businesses and they are looking to leave a lasting mark on our local business community. The Franklin Business Center is excited to introduce our two newest clients.

Smith

Smith

Jasmine Smith, founder & CEO of Envision Media, was born and raised in Franklin. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Communications from Southern Wesleyan University in 2013 and completed her Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from Regent University in 2014. Currently, she is obtaining a Doctorate degree of Strategic Business Leadership from Regent University.

During her time at Southern Wesleyan University, Smith traveled and lead a team of missionaries to Haiti, where she produced a film documentary. She has experience in radio under a previous internship with 103 Jamz Radio in Virginia Beach.

Smith also had the opportunity to study abroad at Oxford University’s School of Theology and the Los Angeles Film Studies Center in Hollywood, CA, where she interned under famous television and film producer Tracey Edmonds (“Jumping the Broom,” “Good Luck, Chuck”).

She launched Envision Media Empire LLC in May of 2014 where she works as an independent brand consultant, photographer, videographer and social media strategist. Smith can be reached via email at Jasmine@envisionmediaglobal.com.

Himes

Himes

William Himes, founder/Owner of Mrs. Mary’s Loving Arms Home Health Care, set out to create a home health agency that would provide quality care and services that exceeded the industry standard. After serving as a caregiver for his mother who was stricken with stage four breast cancer in 2011, he observed the positive effects of what home health care can provide for their patients and their family.

He vowed to create a business that would allow others that shared a similar compassion as he did the opportunity to combine their kindness with professionalism to offer premier home health care services. In June of 2016, Mrs. Mary’s Loving Arms was created and was established as a licensed agency through the Virginia Department of Health. The business currently offers healthcare training classes for Personal Care Aide, Nurse Aide and Medication Aide.

The agency has over 70 years of combined experience on their Registered Nursing staff and hold high expectations for the training of all staff members. Himes can be reached via email at whimes.mmla@gmail.com.

Join us in welcoming both Envision Media and Mrs. Mary’s Loving Arms to the Franklin business community. We ask that you keep them in mind when you are in need of specific services that they offer.
