BOYKINS — Elizabeth Bryant “Betty” Prince, 76, passed away on Aug. 10, 2016, at her home.

Betty was born in Franklin and reared in Newsoms. She was a daughter of the late George Robert Prince Sr. and Jean Bryant Prince.

Betty was a 1957 graduate of Southampton High School and a 1961 graduate of Mary Washington University.

She was a member of Newsoms United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a brother, George R. “Bobby” Prince Jr and wife, PuCha, of Roswell, Georgia; a stepsister, Sandy Holloman, of Courtland; and a niece, Deborah Prince and cousins.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms, with the Rev. Ian Hackmann officiating.
