FRANKLIN
The Franklin Police Department is searching for three suspects in relation to vehicle larceny that took place early Friday morning.

According to Capt. Tim Whitt with the FPD, officers responded to Meadow Ridge Apartments after a resident called about observing three suspicious people going through the interior of a truck. Upon arrival, the officers checked the complex, but were unable to locate the suspects.

However, after doing some investigating, they found that nine vehicles had been entered and ransacked, two of which had items stolen. The police noted that all of the vehicles had been left unlocked.

The suspects have been described as black males who are possibly teens or young adults. They were last seen leaving in a small, silver pickup truck.

If anyone has any information about these crimes, they are asked to call FPD at 562-8575 or Franklin Crime Solvers at 562-8599. Also, if anyone observes any suspicious activity, they are asked to notify Franklin police immediately.
