FRANKLIN — Jessie de Bordenave “Buck” Blythe, 90, passed away on Aug. 1, 2016.

Mr. Blythe was a native of Southampton County, and was a son of the late Jessie and Iola Harcum Blythe. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Harrell Blythe.
He was a member of South Quay Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Edith B. Warren (Michael); three sons, Marion Blythe (Christine), Jesse C. Blythe (Donna) and Beverly L. Blythe (Wanda); one sister, Aldine Duck; eight grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James W. Browder III officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times in Beverly and Wanda’s home at 721 Canterbury Court, Franklin.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
