Dwayne Earl Casper

WINDSOR — Dwayne Earl Casper, 54, earned his wings on July 22, 2016, and will forever be an angel looking over us. He was at home surrounded by his devoted, loving wife, son and daughter. Dwayne was loved dearly by his family.
He was born in Franklin on Jan. 17, 1962.
Dwayne is survived by his wife of 28 years, LuAnne White Casper, as well as his daughter “baby girl,” Jessica Marie York (Bill); son, Christopher Robert Boyd (Crystal); and grandchildren, Alanah, Westyn and Will. To his grandchildren, Dwayne was known as “Papa D,” and his love will live in their hearts forever.
He is also survived by his parents, Rommie Casper (Mary) and Dawn Saunders (AJ, deceased), his grandmother, Margaret Casper Warren; as well as sisters, Wanda Bryant (Jimmy), Theresa Sanderson (Harold), Cari McClish, Dawn Davis, Christa Casper, Amy Moore and Sarah Ennis (deceased); and brothers, Richard Saunders and James Casper (Tiffani); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dwayne was a welder for over 30 years and was employed by Amadas Industries. He took great pride in being a hard worker and provider.
He enjoyed the beach, listening to music and being with his family and friends.
Over the last eight months, Dwayne’s strength, courage and determination was known as being an “Ironman” and admired by many.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to close friends who supported and loved them through this difficult journey. The family would like to send a special thanks to Willie Davis and Chaplain Tim Minor of Personal Touch Hospice.
We will celebrate Dwayne’s life on Wednesday,, July 27, with a service at 6 p.m., followed by visitation at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive Suffolk.
The family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society or the National Hemophilia Foundation.
