FRANKLIN
The Franklin Police Department has made several arrests regarding a rash of vandalism to residents’ vehicles. Two adults — George M. Davis, 19, of 1033 Ulmstead Circle, Arnold, Maryland; and Ryan A. Godwin, 18, of 901 Clay St., Franklin — and two juveniles are being charged.

According to Capt. Tim Whitt of the FPD, in June and July over 30 vehicles were vandalized in northern Franklin with numerous substances including eggs, yogurt and, in one instance, feces.

A traffic stop led to the identification of the suspects and additional investigation led to the recovery of video evidence implicating them in the crimes.

Davis and Godwin were charged with several counts of destruction of property, as well as contributing to the delinquency of minors. The two juveniles, ages 15 and 17, were charged with destruction of property.
