WILLIAMSBURG
This year marks the first time that the youth and staff of the Franklin Summer Super Jam program have attended a trip to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. This trip took place on Friday.

After arriving at the park, the group posed for a group picture at the main entrance to the park in the England section of the Old Country.

Next, the group was broken down into smaller groups and each dispersed to many, if not all of the countries, in the theme park that is noted as the one of the world’s most beautiful theme parks.

With the weather for the day sunny and hot, many of the water rides were inviting and offered a chance to cool down for a short while. But, of course, the big roller coasters of the park were the main attractions for those that wanted that rush from a tall drop and the speed, loops and sharp quick turns of the coasters as Griffen.

In all, the youth stated enjoyment of the park that it could be added to the annual trip list.

The Franklin Summer Super Jam program is sponsored by the Franklin Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Virginia & the Franklin Department of Parks & Recreation.
