MURFREESBORO, N.C. — Jonathan Owens Pulley, 51, passed away on July 9, 2016.
He was born in Franklin and reared in Courtland. He was a graduate of Southampton Academy, a graduate of NC State University and earned a master’s degree from East Carolina University.
Jonathan was a counselor at PORT Human Services in Ahoskie, North Carolina, and was a motorcycle enthusiast.
He was predeceased by his mother, Clyde Crichton Pulley, and a brother, Paul Crichton Pulley.
Survivors include his son, Jonathan O. Pulley Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his father, C. Graham Pulley of Courtland; his brother, Collin G. Pulley Jr. (Judy) of Courtland; an aunt, Frances Pulley Moore of Courtland; and his dog Romeo.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, Virginia, with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.
