FRANKLIN — Mrs. Catherine Cutler Hunt of Pretlow Street departed this life on July 5, 2016, while resting peacefully in her home.

She was born to Samuel and Viola B. Cutler in Sunbeam, Virginia.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mansfield Cutler; and nephew, Brian DeBerry. She is survived by her husband, Floyd L. Hunt; two children, Mara Peterson (Pete) and Willie “Bobby” Boone (Stephanie); two sisters, Geraldine Perry and June Liverman; four stepchildren, Theodore “Ricky” Cox, Don Hunt, Keisha Williams (James) and Tameka Warren (Travis); and nieces, nephews and cousins.

The homegoing service will be on Tuesday, July 12, at 1 p.m., in Move of God Church, 221 S. Main St., with the Rev. J.J. Ferguson delivering the eulogy; Apostle Tyrone Hart is the host pastor. On Monday, the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. The committal and benediction will be held in Mount Gilead Church Cemetery.

A traditional service with dignity will be conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin.
