FRANKLIN
The new owners of the Sears in Franklin pride themselves on great customer service and hope to have a close relationship with the community. Antwuan and Tiffany Warren took over the business back in February.

“We just wanted to take this time to introduce ourselves to the community and get the word out that Sears is under new ownership,” Tiffany said.

The new owners understand that several purchases which customers make at Sears are big and special ones, such as choosing the right washer and dryer.

Antwuan, who is originally from Southampton County, is retired from the Air Force. Tiffany is originally from Georgia, and has been working as a pre-school teacher since the couple moved back to the area.

“We’ve been talking about opening a business as our next career move and we wanted it to be something in the area,” she said about how taking the ownership over of Sears came about.

Although owning a business is a big change for them, they said they are enjoying it.

“We pride ourselves on excellent customer service,” Tiffany continued. “We want people to come in and feel comfortable. We understand that they are making special purchases. We want to offer them a warm feeling and want them to come back to us for future purchases.”

Although the Sears located at 1317 Armory Drive, Franklin, is smaller than others, they are able to order anything that the company sells. The local business also offers delivery.

The store hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.

Antwuan and Tiffany live in Franklin with their two sons.
