We here at The Tidewater News would like to take this time to wish all the mothers a Happy Mother’s Day! Although we should say it more, today is the day we let you know how much we love you and how thankful we are that you are in our lives. We remember everything you have done for us, all the sacrifices you have made, the things you have taught us, the memories we have made and let you know that we wouldn’t be where we are without you.

We know you are part of what makes the foundation of our families stable. Today is your day and we are celebrating you!

Every family has their own traditions and each mom will be celebrated in their own way today. However, if you are looking for something to do, there are several opportunities to celebrate mom this weekend in the Western Tidewater.

One of those being the annual Mother’s Day Brunch at the Airfield Conference Center in Wakefield. The brunch is from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will serve an assortment of breakfast and lunch items, as well as desserts. Reservations are not required for this event, however, they are encouraged.
