ARVONIA — Robert Edward “Bob” Baugham III, 53, passed away on May 4, 2016, at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Bob was born in Franklin and reared in Sedley.

He was a 1980 graduate of Southampton High School and an employee of the Virginia State Police.

Survivors include his wife of 19-1/2 years, Kathleen Ewell Baugham; his parents, Robert Edward Baugham Jr. and Margaret Hancock Baugham; a step-daughter, Tiffany Newsome; a sister, Marilyn B. Tomasic (Chris); a brother, Michael Baugham (Debbie); and two grandchildren, Brianna and Ethan Newsome.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
