Foy Webster Baggett Jr.

FRANKLIN — Foy Webster Baggett Jr., 61, passed away on May 1, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Suffolk, he was a graduate of Forest Glen High School, and retired as a superintendent for VDOT after 39 years of service.
Foy was a longtime member of the Blackwater Hunt Club, and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Suffolk.
He was predeceased by his father, Foy Webster Baggett Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Jannet Hand Baggett; his mother, Erma Winslow Baggett; a daughter, Kelly D. Baggett; four sons, Daniel W. Baggett, Norman V. Hand (Heather), Ryan Baggett (Courtney) and F. Webster Baggett III; sister, Judy B. McClung; two brothers, Arthur Baggett (Peggy) and Teddy Baggett (Myrtle) and three grandchildren, Christopher, Isaiah and Raylynne Baggett.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, in the Church of God of Prophecy, Suffolk. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, and suggests memorials be made to the family for Webster’s college fund at 3091 Beaverdam Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
