WINDSOR
On Saturday, April 30, the Town of Windsor will host their Grand Opening of the Windsor Community Center in collaboration with the Windsor Woman’s Club 4th Annual Spring Craft Fair. As of right now there are over 20 vendors planning on attending the event selling items such as jewelry, florals, kitchen tools, artwork and much more.

“The event is being held at the new community center. We have a lot more vendors this year than ever before,” Nola Mumford, member of Windsor Woman’s Club said. “We were limited before on the amount of vendors we could. We will have close to twice as many this year.”

There are nearly 30 vendors registered to be at the event. These include, but are not limited to: Martha Made it (glass art, dish flowers, dish bird feeds); Origami Owl (lockets, charms, chains, wrap bracelets); Paparazzi Jewelry (costume jewelry); Sissy’s Crafts (upcycled items, bottle and jart art, jewelry, scarfs, plants, magnets); Red’s Floral Arrangements; LuLaRoe (leggings, shirts, skirts and dresses); Marilyn Crafty Treasurers (doll clothes, young girl clothes and baby dresses); Jamberry Nails (nail wrap designs and polish); Designs by Sandra (silk florals); Avon; Premier Design Jewelry; Kay’s Kreations (Door decorations, home décor and floral items); Scentsy (wickless candles, scentsy buddies, room sprays, wax bars, diffusers and oils); Kruzin Granny’s Gifts (plastic canvas, crochet); Designs by Ann (oven towel dresses, fabric flowers and vases); Homestead Krafts (hooded towels, emobroided towels, oven towels and home décor); Once Upon a Stitch (quilts, fabric items and wreaths); Pampered Chef (kitchen tools and spices); 31 (totes and bags); Clever Container (organizational items for the home, office and travel); Stella and Dot (bags, wallets and jewelry); Younique (makeup); and much more.

There will also be chicken salad and pimento cheese available for purchase, along with a bake sale and raffles.

All the proceeds from this event go to the woman’s club and everything they make on their events goes back into the community.

The Windsor Woman’s Club has been working for months to get the new Windsor Community Center ready for this event. It is located off of Courthouse Highway in Windsor, in the old gymnasium of Georgie D. Tyler Middle School.

The craft fair is free and open to public. It will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
