Zuni Homes will have its 42nd annual Day in the Country event this Saturday, April 23. The fun lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will be at the campus, 5279 Homegrown Lane in Zuni.
Families are invited to share a day of fun with the residents of HumanKind at Zuni Homes.
A Zuni Homes resident will get things started by singing the National Anthem.
Stage entertainment includes music by soloists, bands and choirs, as well as a performance by the Peanut City Cloggers.
Off-stage, ongoing activities include a bake sale, Zuni peanut sales, plant sales, Moon Bounce, hay rides, vendors, face painting, kids’ lawn games, a live auction (at noon), raffles, and door prizes.
Food concessions include pork chop sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and beverages (including old fashioned lemonade.)
