To the Editor:

Councilman [Greg]] McLemore is a rather persistent individual. The citizens of this city has rejected him twice in the past showing that they do not want him as mayor. It is my belief that if he becomes mayor of this city, it will be disastrous.

While missing more than 50 percent of the City Council meetings in the last two years, he has not effectively represented the citizens of Ward 3, and I do not believe he will be any different as mayor.

He states that he would like to unite Council members. I wonder how he would accomplish this when he has done nothing for the last six years except create dissension, and make all sorts of wild accusations against other Council members.

I urge all citizens to get out and vote, and please consider voting for Councilman [Fred] Rabil, and reelect Councilwoman [Mona] Murphy to Ward 4.
