FARMVILLE—Jackson Corbett, 15, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, unexpectedly.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Jackson was a ninth grader at Farmville Central High School and a member of JROTC. He loved hunting and fishing, water sports and working on cars.
Jackson was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann Nanney Corbett.
He is survived by his parents, Gene and Jennifer Corbett of the home; grandparents, Bob and Janice Corbett of Ayden, and Charles and Jewell Martin of Franklin, VA; aunts, Carol Coggins (Trevor Atwell) and Veronica Grady (Donald); “Godsisters”, Alyssa and Lauran Benn; and many beloved cousins.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
