FRANKLIN
The Franklin City Council will have a budget work session on Monday, and then have a council meeting where they will here a presentation on the Southampton County Courthouse.

The budget work session is for the purpose of receiving agency and organization requests for Fiscal Year 2016-2017. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Following the work session at 7 p.m., council will have their regularly scheduled meeting.

At the meeting, Southampton County Administrator Mike Johnson will give a presentation on the Southampton County Courthouse Project, where he will discuss and explain the options they have come up with for the necessary updates that need to be made.

Both the work session and the meeting will take City Hall Council Chambers, 207 West Second Avenue, Franklin.
